A graduate of the University of Regina with a degree in music education and scholarship winner in theory from the Western Board of Music, Jane has directed, music directed, conducted, stage managed, played for and performed in over one hundred productions for various theatre companies and schools in Saskatchewan. Most notable of these would be directing the annual Brunch for Lyric (for 14 years), playing for various DIWC productions, conducting the orchestra for many of Lyric’s spring musicals and directing her annual school mega-musicals. Having recently retired after teaching for 30 years with the Regina Public School Board as a Music and Arts Education Specialist, Jane is looking forward to continuing passing on her love of music and musical theatre at Class Act Performing Arts Studios.

Born and raised in Regina, Robert Ursan received degrees from the University of Regina Conservatory of Music, Oberlin College in Ohio, University of Toronto and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland. He was the first recipient of the Luciano Pavarotti/Toronto Sumphony Award, receiving the honour when attending the Opera School at the University of Toronto. He has sung with opera companies in Canada and Britain as well as performing in theatre at Alberta Theatre Projects, Globe Theatre and others. Also a composer, his first opera, Into the Light, was premiered by Prairie Opera and The Regina Symphony in 1992. Since that time he has written two other operas, five musicals and the scores for eight Globe Theatre productions as well as many song cycles. His most recent works includes The Ship Builder a setting of Ken Mitchell's play and his first piano concerto. In the last 10 years Robert has written, performed in, directed or music directed over 100 theatrical works and is currently the Musical Director for Do It With Class Young People's Theatre and a private instructor of voice and piano. Robert Ursan is the Co-Artistic Director for the The Golden Apple Theatre.
