Fees Instructions

Tuition Fees

Applicable to all classes.

All Tuition fees are equally divided over the duration of the Regular Class season, 9 or 10 months, depending upon the discipline.

Tuition fees for Sessional Classes must be paid IN FULL at registration.

Tuition fees for Regular Classes are due on the first of each month, either 9 or 10 months, depending upon the discipline.

A monthly service charge of 2% will be applied to outstanding account balances.

Outstanding account balances may be charged to the credit card on file or added on to the next month's class fees.

Monthly Fee Discount

4 regular classes or competitive groups

5% discount

5 regular classes or competitive groups

10% discount

6 or more regular classes or competitive groups

15% discount

Sessional Classes, and Competitive Solos, Duos, and Trios will receive the highest class/competitive group discount as indicated above.

Example:

A Student is registered in the following groups:

• Ballet Primary
• Ballet Primary Group Competitve
• Jazz Primary
• Jazz Primary Group Competitive

The Student would receive a 5% discount for the total fee amount for the above regular classes and competitive groups.

The Student is also registered in the following:

• Ballet Solo
• Jazz Solo

The Student will receive a 5% discount for the total fee amount for all classes, groups, and solos.

Costume Fees

Applicable to all dance classes (including competition)

All dance classes will be performing in the Dance Recital. Each student will require a costume for the performance.

Students enrolled in group competition classes, as well as trios, duos, and solos, will also require a costume for their competition performance(s).

Each student is required to pay a mandatory costume deposit fee of $75.00 to purchase their costume(s).

Costume Deposit Fee is non-refundable and due on October 1st.

Combination Classes, including Intro to Dance 1 & 2, will perform both disciplines. Therefore, a charge for 2 costumes is applicable.

All costumes will be ordered and considered a final sale as at October 1st with balance of costume(s) applied to credit card on file on February 1st. This is applicable to ALL dance students.

When possible, Instructors will try to choose second-hand costume as opposed to new costumes. 

If a second-hand costume is used, the $75.00 Deposit Fee will then be considered a Rental Fee and there will be no further charges. 

Students will be notified of the Instructor(s) decisions regarding costume selection by November.

Recital Fees

Applicable to all regular classes (dance, drama and musical theatre)

A Recital Fee of $50.00 is required to all students enrolled in Regular Classes to help offset the production costs of the Year End Recitals.

There are two types of Recital Fees that students may required to pay; the Dance Recital and/or the Drama & Musical Theatre Recital.

All Production Fees are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable.

The Dance Recital Fee is one fee applicable to students enrolled in any or all of the following disciplines:

• Ballet
• Jazz
• Tap
• Hip Hop
• Contemporary
• Combination Dance (including Intros)

The Drama & Musical Theatre Recital Fee is one fee applicable to students enrolled in one or both of the following disciplines:

• Drama
• Musical Theatre
• Show Choir

Music Theory & Show Choir Material Fees

Junior Show Choir: a mandatory $40.00 charge per student for sheet music and DVDs.

Ear Training & Sigth Singing: a mandatory id="mce_marker"5.00 charge per student to cover the cost of music dication books and photocopies.
