About This Class
Challenge Tap Senior is designed for advanced dancers refining tap technique, musicality, and performance clarity. Classes emphasize precision, control, and consistency at the senior Challenge level.
From August to December, training supports advanced tap examination preparation where applicable. From January to June, dancers focus on advanced choreography for recital and competitions.

Meet Your Instructor

Rachel Baber
Jazz and Tap Instructor
Rachel began dancing at the age of 3 and trained competitively in Tap, Jazz,
Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. She started as an Assistant Dance Teacher at the age of 16 and immediately fell in love with educating students in dance.
Rachel holds her ADAPT Teacher Certificates in Tap and Jazz. As a dancer she successfully completed her Elementary CDTA Tap examination and Advanced CDTA Ballet and Jazz examinations. Rachel has both her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Regina. In addition to being a dance teacher, Rachel also works full time as a school teacher.
Rachel absolutely loves combining her two passions, dance and teaching, and adores her Class Act family!
