The Vocational Graded Ballet consists of 5 levels (Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, and Advanced 2) and is the next step for dancers upon completion of Ballet Grade 5. The Vocational Graded levels offer an in-depth study of ballet and pointe work and prepare students for a career in dance.
Under the esteemed RAD Syllabus, our experienced instructors focus on honing technique, refining artistry, and expanding repertoire. Eligible dancers have the exciting opportunity to participate in ballet examinations, showcasing their growth and receiving valuable feedback from our expert faculty.
In addition, dancers have the opportunity to participate in dance competitions in April/May, as well as our highly-anticipated Ballet Year-End Performances in June.
Placement in these classes is at the discretion of the instructors and enrollment in Jazz and Acro classes is mandatory for all competitive dancers. Female dancers are also required to enrol in Challenge Ballet Pointe Open. Dancers in these classes are required to attend the Examination Intensive Week (August 21-25) where they will learn the syllabus content. They are also required to attend additional practices during the Easter Break (April 2-6) to polish routines in preparation for competitions.
